Magical Metaphors

Today we shared our ideas for writing a free verse poem based on our understanding of metaphors (a comparison between two things without using 'like' or 'as'). Our inspiration came from 'My Nana' a poem by Glenn Colquhoun. Watch this space for our completed work.

Room 4's Class Rules Contract
Room 4 have co-constructed our class rules for 2016. We discussed what type of classroom environment we would all like to work in using a Y-Chart-what Room 4 should....look like, feel like and sound like. From here we collated our ideas and decided on our final rules. Everyone signed the contract which will be displayed in the classroom for 2016.
